The junior guard from the Bronx went nuts in Madison Square Garden at the BIG EAST Tournament, leading the Huskies to 5 straight wins, 4 over nationally ranked opponents, to capture the BIG EAST crown.
As the #3 seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament, UConn marched into the Sweet 16 after easy wins over Bucknell and Cincinnati. Two more wins, including a 74-67 win over #2 seed San Diego State and #5 seed Arizona, put Calhoun in the Huskies in the Final Four.
