After 31 years of making basketball print products, SLAM finally put one together with young readers in mind. The publisher has covered regular magazines, higher-end coffee table collector's editions on sneakers, fashion, hoops debates and history books about college programs and NBA franchises. This is the first project built just for kids.
Each of the 30 franchises gets its own share of the action, with fun facts about all-time players, arenas, mascots, historical moments, best records, team logos, coaches and championships. A list of you-need-to-know stats and records rounds out the pages, and the Frozen Moment section gathers some of the coolest pics the game has ever seen (their words, not ours).
