Jim Larrañaga's 2012-2013 Miami squad put together one of the best seasons the program has seen. The Hurricanes closed the regular season at 27-7.
They claimed the school's first ACC regular season title with a 15-3 conference mark, then fell to North Carolina in the ACC Tournament final.
Shane Larkin took ACC Player of the Year honors, and Larrañaga was named ACC Coach of the Year. Larkin also landed consensus All-America status and made the final cut for the Bob Cousy Award, handed to the nation's top point guard.
In the East Region of the NCAA Tournament, Miami held a No. 2 seed and beat Pacific and Illinois to reach the Sweet 16, where Marquette ended the run 71-61.
