Michigan Wolverines 1992-1993 Retro-Fab-Five-Basketballshorts

Five freshman starters changed college basketball in '92, and the Fab Five came back a year older with the #1 ranking and a target on their backs. Michigan rolled to 26-4 in the regular season and never dropped below #7 in in the polls. A 86-84 escape against #9 UCLA in the West Region kept the run alive, then wins over George Washington and Temple sent the Wolverines to another Final Four.

Kentucky and Jamal Mashburn stood in the way.
